WHAT
DOES CounterAct's FIELD EVALUATION PROGRAM SHOW? |
CounterAct
Electronic Rustproofing Field Evaluations: |
"CounterAct
electronic rust protection for salt harvesting trucks" |
| IMC Kalium
Ogden Corp. |
"...the conditions that our equipment routinely encounters
in salt harvesting are among the most severe corrosion promoting
environments."
"...on our pickups, metal exposed from scratches and
dents can perforate in 3-6 months time if left unattended."
"...have used the CounterAct electronic rust protection
system for over 10 years and stock it for routine installation
on all new trucks."
"...the operating life of our trucks had been only
a year and a half between rebuilds and has now been increased
by at least an additional 24 months. "

"CounterAct
electronic rust proofing for brine harvesting equipment" |
Great Salt Lake
Mineral Corp.
(Brine Harvesting Operation) |
"...we stock the CounterAct
electronic rustproofing systems routinely for use on all our
trucks and have used it for about 15 years."
"The CounterAct electronic rust proofing systems have
extended the average working life of our trucks by at least
2 years."
"...many of the fellows have a CounterAct electronic
rust protection system on their personal vehicles as well
after seeing what they do in the field."
I have one on my own car I really believe in CounterAct's
effectiveness."

"CounterAct
electronic rust protection for government snowplows and salt
spreader trucks" |
Dept. of Transportation
Iowa (2001) |
"There is a noticeable
difference between the snowplows which received the CounterAct
electronic rust protection systems and those that did not.
Not only is there far less rust and corrosion on the CounterAct
protected snow plows but the trucks without the system show
a far greater loss of paint. This tells me that the CounterAct
electronic rust protection system reduces paint undercutting
as well. On one plow truck we had installed an undersized
pick-up truck size system. Even on this vehicle the difference
from unprotected snowplow trucks was remarkable"

"CounterAct
electronic rust protection on steel and aluminum boat trailers" |
| EZ Loader Boat Trailers (2001) |
The Southeast division of
EZ Loader Boat Trailers is a manufacturer of both aluminum
and galvanized boat trailers. We tested a CounterAct electronic
corrosion control system on one of our aluminum trailers.
The trailer has aluminum I-beams as its main frame with galvanized
steel cross-members and zinc plated hardware. We have observed
the following after one year of use:
1.The trailer shows very small amounts of corrosion, if any.
2.The hardware is in perfect condition showing no corrosion.
In Florida we have extreme salt water conditions and I firmly
believe that this trailer would show heavy corrosion if it
did not have the CounterAct system.
We at EZ Loader are true believers of the CounterAct electronic
corrosion control system and therefore are currently offering
the system on all our trailers.

"CounterAct
Electronic rust protection on heavy mining equipment" |
Clough Engineering
Group,
Telfer Mining (1999) |
We first installed a CounterAct
"electronic rust protection" system in a Wagner
ST 7.5 loader about 2 years ago. The machine left this site
some 2 months later and I lost sight of it until January of
this year. We had used a grinder to polish an area under a
wheel arch to monitor the success or otherwise of the system.
I was pleased to see that the unpainted patch was still free
from rust. As we are in the planning stages of replacing our
fleet we are including CounterAct "electronic rust protection"
on each new machine. In fact we have just purchased an Elphinstone
R1700 to which we have fitted the system.
The cost of the system is negligible compared to our corrosion
problems, even in the first few months of a machine's service
life."

"CounterAct
electronic rust protection on fire trucks" |
R. B. Burcham
Fire Dept. Equipment Foreman (1991) |
"We took delivery on
4 similar fire trucks and installed the CounterAct electronic
rust protection systems on 2 of these. After 30 months, visual
inspection of the trucks revealed that the trucks were rust
free while the 2 unprotected fire trucks already had rust
forming.
On the ladder truck which had undergone extensive rust repair
and on which a system was fitted afterwards, there was no
evidence of further rusting at the repair site despite the
use of dissimilar metals (steel and aluminum) in the repair.
On the unrepaired areas of the truck there was no sign of
the existing rust progressing. Although these are subjective
observations I am satisfied that the CounterAct electronic
rust protection systems have proven very effective under the
harsh conditions in which our fire trucks and equipment operates."

"CounterAct
Electronic Rust Protection on mechanic's bed trucks" |
| Mac's Engineering |
Mac's Engineering in conjunction
with certain Coal Mines within Central Queensland ran a testing
program utilizing CounterAct 4 Coupler Heavy Duty Systems
(OR-4) over a period of 18 months.
The test proved to be effective by controlling
the corrosion problems associated with the coal mines, sulphur
being the corrosive agents.
Mac's Engineering are now supplying & fitting CounterAct
(OR-4) Systems to all new Nissan Patrols going onto these
Coal Mine sites in Central Queensland.
We are also looking at using CounterAct Technology to control
corrosion on static structures at a local coal loading facility
and for the prevention of corrosion on a steel and concrete
water tower.

"CounterAct
Electronic Rust Protection on off road
safari vehicles" |
| Duncan's Off Road
(2000) |
"It has been some two
years now that this company has had your "electronic
rust protection" product in use. During this time our
two Nissan vehicles have clocked up 200,000 klms. conducting
tag-a-long tours to remote parts of Australia along with our
bush and sand driver training closer to home. Our vehicles
negotiate countless river crossings and are constantly exposed
to the elements in coastal regions; be it in Cape York, Cape
Levesque, Middle Lagoon, Broome at Tully Inlet or Karumba
in the gulf or closer at home, at Tewantin where monthly sand
driver training is conducted.
"I have conducted my own tests on the CounterAct "electronic
rust protection" unit by comparing two vehicles, one
with a fitted unit and one without, over a seven day period
and have clearly seen first hand how rapidly a salty environment
can deteriorate a vehicle that has no such electronic aid."
" In summary, I would like to advise that our vehicles
operate at times under extreme conditions and harsh terrain.
We have found very obvious results and would suggest that
anyone seriously interested in significantly extending the
life of their motor vehicle, should consider a CounterAct
"electronic corrosion control" system. I have no
hesitation in recommending this unit.
