EASY STEPS to
the Cleanest Car on the Road |
| STEP
01 |
|
 |
Vacuum
the interior of your car. We prefer to use a powerful 'Shop
Vacuum otherwise known as Wet/Dry Vacuum.Available at any
home improvement centre.Begin by removing all interior floor
mats and beat vigorously to loosen any dirt, bringing it to
the surface. Next, vacuum the interior of the car including
the seats, floor (especially between and under the seats),
headliner and boot. |

Clean
your wheels with Eagle One A2Z All Wheel Cleaner. Ensure the
wheels are cool and do only one at a time. Using this product
is as simple as spraying it on the wheel and hosing it off.
Be aware that if your wheels are excessively dirty, some agitation
with an old paint brush may be necessary. If you have access
to a pressure washer, use it. This terrific machine will pay
large dividends in easing your cleaning. |

Household detergents are
nice for stripping grease off your pots and pans. However,
the same chemicals that break down grease will also strip
the grease off your car. We recommend washing with Eagle One
WET Car Wash and preserve the wax that is currently on your
vehicle. Follow the instructions and mix up a bucket of soapy
water. Using a high quality wash mitt, begin washing the vehicle
from the top down. This will prevent tracking dirt from the
lower part of the car unto the sides, where it can scratch.
Dry with a synthetic chamois and dry all door jambs with a
clean, soft 100% cotton terry towel. |

 |
Once the vehicle is dry,
apply a coat of Eagle One WET Polish & Wax. This combines
polishing, glazing and waxing into one easy step.Apply either
by hand or with an orbital buffer. Either way, make sure to
apply a thin, even coat. Remember, more isn't better when
applying waxes and polishes. So go easy. Apply WET Polish
and Wax in a top down manner to ensure complete coverage and
to minimise scratching. Also apply in a comfortable pattern,
the days of little circles are long gone. Once the polish
has dried to a white haze, remove with a soft, clean, 100%
terry towel. Another good tip is to use a detail brush to
remove any white residue from the cracks and crevices. |

Using WET Tire Shine, dress
all exterior black trim and mouldings. Remember to apply with
care. You've just spent a good deal of time creating a nice
finish and the more time you spend carefully applying this
product, the less time you spend wiping it off your paint.
Also, wipe down all door, boot and bonnet jambs with Eagle
One WET N Shine. This is a quick and easy way to provide the
finishing touch to your vehicles overall appearance. |

Wipe down all wheels and
dry the tyres. Apply a light coat of WET Polish & Wax
to the wheels and apply a coat of WET High Gloss Tire Shine
or A satin Finish Concourse Tire Shine (depending on your
gloss preference). We also recommend using Eagle One Tire
Swipes whenever using a tyre dressing. Not only does it provide
superior results, but it eliminates over-spray on your paint
and wheels. Simply spray the dressing on the Tire Swipe and
'swipe' the tyre. |

Clean and dress your interior.
If you have lather interior, clean it first with Eagle One
Leather Cleaner and follow with Eagle One Leather Conditioner.
If you have vinyl or cloth interior, clean first with ZAP
Spot Remover and follow with either Satin Finish Concourse
Tire Shine or Eagle One Leather Conditioner (yes, it works
on vinyl too!). Use a detail brush to clean all vents, cracks
and crevices. |

Clean all glass surfaces.
Make sure you use a clean, soft 100% terry towel, but the
trick is to use one that has absolutely no silicone residue,
fabric-softener or dryer-sheet residue, as these products
tend to cause streaks on glass. Professionals use a different
colour towel for windows to separate them from the rest of
the bunch. Using Eagle One 20/20 Perfect Vision Auto Glass
Cleaner, start with exterior windows first, wiping in a side-to-side
motion. This will allow you to identify where any streaks
are coming from. Lastly, always fold your towel into quarters
and turn frequently to ensure you have a clean surface. Please
note that traditional household glass cleaners are ineffective
at removing vinyl fog and smoker's residue, plus they can
sometimes harm after- market tinted windows. |

09 |
|
 |
Go over the entire vehicle
one last time and look for any wax you may have missed. Kneel
down and examine the entire length of the vehicle. Look at
the windows for any streaks and finally, replace the floor
mats. |
