SS Inductions' Big Mouth Airflow Meters, manufactured from both cast aluminium and CNC Billet aluminium, have been computer designed for a more streamlined airflow than is achievable by modifying standard meters. Modified airflow meters available on the market still retain ridges and holes, which disrupt airflow. The SS Inductions' meters have a superior flow rate with no disruption at all. Uses the original centre from your airflow meter to ensure there are no engine management problems.

The airflow meter basically measures airflow directly, with an electronic sensor on the airstream of the intake providing an output voltage reading that is proportional to the mass air flowing into the engine. The airflow meter then sends the necessary information to the engine management computer which recalculates fuel flow and ignition timing.

The resulting changes to the air/fuel ratio and ignition timing means a noticeable power gain, a considerable saving in fuel consumption and improvement in overall performance of the vehicle. (Note that premium unleaded petrol should be used for maximum results)
